EUROPEAN GRAND PRIX

PETR MARKO (BOTTESFORD BULLETS) won the European Grand Prix with 2nd placed BOGUSLAW KRYZNOWEK (MILTON KEYNES
CATS) matching his 19 point haul and the pair opening up a gap at the top of the standings. The next highest scorers from this round were the
other Grand Finalist RUMUN DIMOTROV (Unattached) and KENNI ALGREEN (WANTAGE KINGS) who picked up 7 each and both moved 5 places up the leaderboard as this strange GP season continues
to see many riders struggling to find consistency.

The other Semi Finalists all started the day outside the top 8 overall and only LEON JEPPESEN (Unattached)
ended by moving into an automatic qualifying spot for next season's series and he was unlucky with an engine failure in his semi that he didn't at least get a chance to add to his 11
points total. JACEK KLECHA (CANVEY ISLAND CASTAWAYS) stays in 13th position but closed the gap on the top 8 to single figures. The other Semi Finalists were LEONID IZOTOV (Unattached) and FILLIPPE CHONG (WANTAGE KINGS) although neither really improves their overall position with 3
of the 8 rounds remaining.

From the rest RAY FRANCE (BOTTESFORD BULLETS) falls from 2nd to 3rd but is still safely in the rostrum places
as it stands and JERNEJ KEGLOVITS (BRATISLAVA BUZZARDS) and TIBOR NEMECEK (NECRONS) stay in the top 8 overall. HAYDEN WOOD (BIRMINGHAM
BOURNVILLIANS), LOUIS JOOSSENS (HULL ANGELS) and JACK HAGEN (STOCKHOLM SCORPIONS) fall out of the top 8 and STEVE EDGAR (READING REBELES) slips to 12th but it is very tight at the
moment with just 10 points separating him from the rider in 4th place! The other rider here was wild card selection JACKSON ROY (Unattached)
with the young Canadian slow to adjust to the standard but finishing with 4 points from his last 2 heats as he found the pace.
