There were 3 UL riders on show in this meeting and they filled the rostrum positions as many predicted they could. Riley Payne and Jay
Patterson both finished on 13 points with Payne winning a run-off to decide the title. Oliver Courtney ended 3rd but can consider himself
extremely unlucky after suffering an engine failure in his first heat before racing to 4 straight victories, including beating both of the top 2. All 3 are still just 16 years of age though so will be back to battle it out again next season and many wouldn't be at all shocked if they made up
the top 3 next time round too.

Behind them Shane Forbes had been tipped by many to put up the biggest challenge to the UL riders and it proved that way although he couldn't keep the pace after being unbeaten at the
interval. Fellow PL rider Simon Kennett was also expected to do well but couldn't pick up any heat victories and rode to a steady 8
points and 8th place. Luke Cook was the highest finishing EL rider and at just 16 years of age will be looking to return and challenge
higher up the field next season after showing he can compete with the best at this level. Mark Osborne and Tommy Barnes were the other
riders in the top, both having their last shot at this title before turning 18 for next season.
